What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Community Manager Intern to help build and engage the MyBuddy community. In this role, you’ll work to foster a positive and supportive environment for our users, both online and offline. You will be a key player in shaping how we interact with and support our community of fitness enthusiasts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and moderate community forums and social media groups, ensuring a positive and supportive environment. 
  • Organize virtual events, challenges, and webinars to engage the community and promote Elloe’s values.
  • Collect user feedback and insights through surveys, polls, and discussions to help improve the MyBuddy experience.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community members and ambassadors, encouraging participation and advocacy.
  • Assist in creating and distributing community-focused content, such as newsletters and event recaps.
  • Support in planning and executing local meetups and events, especially in Texas, to foster a sense of community.
  • Monitor community growth and engagement metrics, and report on key insights to the team. 
Skills Needed:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field (or relevant experience).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
  • Experience in community management or event planning is a plus.
  • Passion for fitness, wellness, and building supportive communities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with community management tools and social media platforms.
